BUILD TRUST IN THE COMMUNITY
We believe in building relationships before you need them. As bilingual marketers, we continually innovate ways to transform our business strategies into people strategies – sometimes one person at a time. Differentiating our clients’ brand values within the deepest grassroots communities is how we help them build lasting trust and emotional connections with their customers. And emotions matter more now than ever as consumers are influenced by diverse forms, messages and images every day, all day.
While “outreach,” simply defined, means “to reach out,” we do more than that at Mendoza. Our unique selling proposition is best explained when describing our outreach service representative (OSR) team, a group of professionals who have experience working in government, social work, and volunteerism in environments that call for leadership, advocacy, and education.
OUR JOB IS NOT DONE UNTIL YOUR PRODUCT SELLS
Most agencies will tell you how they will plan your strategy. We’ll tell you how we’ll sell it. We know everything about this multicultural ecosystem because we are part of it. It’s our natural environment — and we’ll help you understand and navigate it in the most relevant, profitable, sensitive way. Every plan begins with having a clear understanding of your audience and identifying where the highest opportunities are to make the most impact.
Audience segmentation is a common practice in our communication strategies to determine the most effective approach, language preference, composition of experiential services team members and media preferences of our target consumers. Dedicating hours of training and familiarizing ourselves with our clients’ business is part and parcel of how we get the job done. Year-round recruitment and training of bilingual outreach services representatives (OSRs) and health insurance agents is an investment we make to show our clients their business matters to us.
NICHE MARKETS FIRST, TOTAL MARKETS SECOND
Our experience in media buying is anything but traditional; you can’t learn what we know from text books. We plan and place media in both general market (national, statewide, local) and ethnic markets that span a wide variety of private and public sector industries – health care, utilities, financial, education. Our planning team excels in broadcast, digital, social, cable, print, out-of-home and lifestyle media placements.
Understanding which media channels that people in total market and ethnically diverse communities rely on can’t be done from the sidelines. The changing and fragmenting media landscape presents challenges and opportunities that require more than just skillset, data, and state-of-the-art tools. It is not always about rating points or delivered impressions, but how our media partners serve their communities.
We deliver deep client value through:
KEEP IT REAL. KEEP IT CLEAR.
Cultural relevance and communications free of stereotype are two key drivers that guide our creative vision.
As a team of bilingual, bicultural marketers with roots in the communities we serve, the stories we hear are the stories we tell. Keeping it real and clear is how we have helped our clients earn brand loyalty from their diverse customer base. Transcreation is how we cross over to achieve a creative concept that resonates with all cultures, whether by reinventing a new concept or adapting your existing one. Count on us for creative work that grabs hearts and influences minds.
Our full range of creative services includes concept development, storyboarding, copywriting, graphic design, illustration, animation, digital and email marketing, online video, social media, broadcast production…you name it, we do it. Actually, let US name it — because we’re branding and naming gurus, too!
BE CULTURALLY ATTUNED AND PLATFORM-SPECIFIC
Is the audience you want to reach in the top part of the funnel (doesn’t know you), middle (willing to engage), or bottom (ready to be a customer)? Count on your audience falling into one of these funnel paths, and we can help you learn where.
When planning social media to reach multiple audiences, the digital divide is no longer as wide between the general population and those who speak English as a second language at home. Latinos, Asians and many multilingual populations have transformed the media universe by the way they rely on digital and social media for entertainment, information, and staying connected with their loved ones. Hands down, Latinos over-index in social networking and digital media without completely abandoning their loyalty to certain traditional media for certain demographics.
To keep up with the growing demand, you can count on a full suite of social media and digital services that includes:
IT’S NOT WHAT YOU SAY. IT’S HOW YOU SAY IT.
Our language services naturally evolved from clients wanting to understand and communicate with multilingual consumers in a responsible and relevant manner. We’ve helped them achieve culturally attuned communications through our translation, transcription, transcreation, and digital accessibility services. Because it’s not what you say, but how you say it that matters. And we can help you do that in more than 85 languages.
What is “transcreation?” The word comes from combining the prefix “trans” (transform or change) with the word “create” (to bring something into existence). Anything we create from an initial general market perspective is modified or re-created to evoke the same feelings and emotional connection in another language. Translation void of cultural resonance and language connection is simply a collection of words and symbols that do little to convey the essence of the original message.
Our transcreators are more than copywriters, designers and translators; they are demographers, ethnographers and strategists.
